The National Cathedral Got a Lot of Damage During Yesterday's Earthquake [Earthquake]

Unlike every other building, the National Cathedral in Washington DC got quite hit in yesterday's earthquake. There was quite a lot of damage to the whole building, which extended from fallen gargoyles to big cracks in the flying buttresses.

The spires actually got quite damaged, with one of them turning on its own vertical axis. The National Cathedral is accepting donations for repairs. [National Cathedral via The Atlantic Wire]
