The thumb drive you see in this video is thicker than the opposable digit of an infant—and yet it can hold up to 2TB of data.
The "Thin Card" drive, built by Taiwanese manufacturer ITRI and revealed at the Display Taiwan trade show, is a USB 3.0 stick with a capacity between 16GB and 2TB. No word on availability yet, thought the company is currently waiting for an international consensus for the USB 3.0 standard. [Netbook News via Slashdot]
